Hey Blonde! I'm glad you're feeling a little better after your appointment. As far as working out try the eliptical since you have been walking. My ps had me start there because I was a runner and I had ants in my pants. :-) It's low impact and you can adjust everything. Take it slow. Give your yoga a whirl just know going into it it's not going to be the same for a while. Try some free weights.... and try a regular crunch. Again I'm glad things are looking up for you. :-) Take care of yourself.
Hey Blonde! How are you feeling?!? I'm sorry you are having a rough time with the stiches. I haven't been on here in forever and wanted to check on a few people. :-) Just an FYI I am almost 4 months and I'm still swelling in my tummy! UGH I have an appt tomorrow with my ps. The swelling can drive you crazy! Even if I drink lots of water and get a good night sleep I can wake up swollen in the morning. If I wear spanx all night plus most of the day then I have a chance at waking up flat. It's so fusturating. I just thought I'd let you know you are not alone. I think you still look great! Keep reminding yourself of the before and it takes a long time to heal. Take care of yourself!
I'm glad you are doing well Blonde! I'm still with you on the swell hell train! ugh. I'll be 10 weeks and I swear I look like I"m preggo somedays. grrr.
Oh Blonde!!! It is normal after you get your drains out to swell more. I didn't see if you got your other buddy out... but it does happen and it is NOT fun. Hang in there. I am almost 9 weeks and I swell EVERYDAY still. Not as bad as before but it can be so depressing. Look at your photos you have posted on here and remind yourself. :-) Oh... I have the high wasted Spax ultra hold. And I have actually folded them down so it folds just above my belly button and gives extra support. Don't know if that made any sense.... but it sometimes is the only thing that will take my swelling down. Drink lots of water! I also had a pinnapple smoothy I was making it was pretty good.. 1 cup vanilla almond milk 1 cup fresh pinnapple, 1 banana, and ice.... oh and a little honey if it needed a little extra sweetness. Blend it until its smooth. It's pretty good. Ok I'm babbling on. Hang in there pretty lady. You've got this. ((HUG)) :-) We all need them sometime!!
I've been wearing normal clothes since around the 2-3 week mark. I all depended on my swelling and mood. :-) I went and got measured at 6 weeks for new bras and have been wearing them since. I was feeling pretty good by 2 weeks BUT I was very lucky and have had an "easy" recovery. I still get exhausted at the end of some days... To the point I can't keep my eyes open on the couch just after putting the kids to bed!
