One thing to keep in mind is experience. Plastic surgeons and dermatologists don't really learn how to do Botox in residency - it's all through pay for weekend courses and experience that they seek out, including electives. Therefore any physician who has the experience is capable of doing it. I know a psychiatrist, of course a md, who does it daily and does a fantastic job because of experience.
