    I had the surgery May 18th, and I am feeling pretty good! I have occasional soreness but nothing too bad. I like to wear some type of shapewear in the day and my binder at night to help with swelling. I have been pretty private about my surgery, but I showed a friend last night and her jaw dropped! I am sooo happy with the results! Good luck to you!

    I am 4 days PO, and I think the waiting was the worst part! I'm of similar height & weight and, like you, didn't do this to be "skinny." Although I can't take the binder off until I see the surgeon tomorrow, I can tell that the roll is gone! I used to hate lying on my side & having that skin just flop over...

    have you decided not to have any more children? some people are like, "but what if you meet someone, blah blah blah." I'm confident I am done having children. Good luck on the weight loss!

    I'm in Topeka but my surgeon is in the OP area. I have saved worrying up until the final hour!

    I had my consult in January and knew months before that I wanted this done. Most of my anxieties in these "final hours" are that I could have done more to lose weight in that big block of time. In fact, the nerves this past week have had me snacking like crazy :(
