Thank you so much for your support girls, it means a lot. I do a lot of running and have recently increased my distance to 13miles, 3x per week. I looked at the scales this morning & have lost 2lb! :D So im on my way there. I thought about muscle weighing more than fat as well? Also, Know this is gross, but I tried to weigh my tummy :/ (There is enough skin to do this) although not 100% accurate, it weighs around 5lbs! I have also thought about a different surgeon, but this one has been recommended to me & It took me a while to put my trust in him. I just wish he'd remember I am a human being! 9st weight loss & giving up my 20 a day habit & still not good enough! Anyway girls I intend to be back in his office by mid June, slimmer than ever! :D I will post some pics, but for the time being I feel a little self conscious- only because I'm not sure when the skin is coming off!

    Hi Ladies,
Sorry it has taken a bit for me to reply but I have some bad news. I gave up smoking 6months ago in order to have the best results possible from my tt. Since giving up, I have gained 6lb in weight, taking my BMI up to 26. My surgeon has postponed my tt until I have shifted the weight as he does "not want to take any risks." I found out on Monday, and today has been the 1st day I have not cried. I am devastated:( I keep telling myself that maybe it wasn't meant to be right now & my family are amazingly supportive which helps a lot. I have upped my exercise routines & restricted my calorie intake in order to rid myself of this lousy 6lb! I have to say I was furious at 1st, what the hell is 6lb when you have lost 9stone! I would love to stay I touch & I wish you all so well with you tt's & fabulous new bodies! :)

That is exactly how I feel, Its like even when I am covered up,i can still feel it all there...hanging..it makes me sick! We are going to feel amazing afterwards I am sure:D I've thought little about the scar really,I figured that although its going to be big, my tummy is going to look normal. I know in time it will fade as well. I joke with my friends that we are having a "belly top party" after my op! hahaha, I just wanna run along the beach in a bikini with my daughter with having to "hold" my skin, actually I'd like to run up the stairs without holding it so it does not make that horrible flapping noise! Have you been given any tips on things to buy for in hospital or at home?
