Hey Maggie!! Thanks for the info!! ok good. not good that you too are some sore. but good that its normal to be some sore and in the same places. Did your PS have you on a specific massage to do? My instructions only said massage the maderma into the scars. I do that and I usually just use regular lotion and massage the rest and under my arms.
The infection has now cleared up. I am just so sore all over both whole breasts. Has anyone else been sore for this long or is this normal it was 5 weeks this past Tuesday since my surgery. I go back to PS on the 23rd, can't decide if I am gonna tell him about going to my primary care doc or not. I guess I will see how it goes that day. I have pics on my blackberry of how bad it was because I am not so sure the nurse even told him or if it even matters at this point. I am healing thats what matters to me.
Maggie, I have a question for you since we had surgery on the same day. Are you still sore? I am still very sore all over and especially when I first wake up in the mornings.
Thanks yall!! I did decide to go to my primary care doctor on the 9th after talking to PS and then posting on here. My primary care doc said it was bad it was white with infection and gave me a shot of antibiotics and an oral one to take also. I feel so much better not in as much pain and the sore is actually drying up and going away not gone yet but there is much improvement. I knew everything I was reading on here that I shouldnt be in this much pain. I actually feel good today!! The infection came on April 26th. So I started calling doc on April 27th and it still took them til May 1st to give me the prescription antibiotic cream. She even had me text her a picture of it. smh The good news to all this madness is I have gone from DDDD to C cup bras yay!!! Finally able to embrace that now that my mind is not consumed with the pain from that infection. Thanks to Iowa71, maggie g, and Piggles70 for your encouragement. I kinda felt like I was cheating on the PS by going to Primary Care Doctor but I agree with yall my body and I knew I was getting sicker and not better.
I am 42 years old and had my reduction done on April 10th also. I am still so sore I can hardly stand it. I seem to be healing well except for one small infected spot they gave me antibiotic cream for on May 1, but is not much better. I called the PS today again and they said just keep using the antibiotic cream until I come in to see him on the 23rd. But it is red and painful not sure what to do and why I am still so sore.
