Something I neglected to mention: my neck pain did not slowly get better; it got a lot better in about 24 hours. Our bodies are all different, certainly, but I thought that information might give reason for hope.
I can update my experience. It's been a month and my neck pain is much improved. I would say that I still have a touch of weakness, and a little stiffness in the mornings, but mostly normal. Hope that is encouraging.
I had botox three weeks ago for migraines. I think it has helped with the severity, but not the frequency of my headaches. However, I've had severe cramping in my neck ever since, with some definite loss of strength. Some days are worse than others. Massage seems to help for a couple hours. Any relief obtained on the migraine front isn't worth the pain in the neck. Sorry so many of you have had the same result.
