Hi Pam.....I just had a BR on 6/4. It's the best thing I ever did. For me, the experience was just about pain free. On a scale of 1-10, my pain level was a 1. The worst part of my BR experience was the anticipation.
I wish you the best of luck! Be sure you have a top notch PS.
Thanks Sammy and Self for responding. I am into the beginning of week 4 on Monday! What a difference in regards to feeling better. Week 3 really sucks. My dr. warned me about that too! I hope you are all getting better and stronger each day. Hang tough, we all know it's worth it! Nothing good in life comes for free right!? Stitches come out on Monday....uh oh! Such a coward! LOL!!!
Hi Everyone.....I hope your all recovering nicely or going into surgery with great results! My surgery went great on June 4th. So far everything is where it's suppose to be etc. I never had to take anything stronger than Tylenol. I do notice now that I am into week 3 that I am more sore than I was at the get go. Week 3 seems to suck so far! What's up with that? That includes me feeling a little down and out! Any words of wisdom? Thank you!
Hi Sammysmomma......yep I hear you about staying out of the freezer section! LOL. I do need to bump up my water intake too! Your right too about the resting stuff.....I notice I get extra sore when I push myself to hard! My stitches are pulling a lot lately....what the heck is that? Healing?
Hi joivy! Are you kidding! You are not too old for this surgery unless you have certain health issues! I am 54 years old and am 9 days post-op! Believe me if I can do this surgery, anyone can. I am the biggest coward on the west coast! You have done yourself a great favor by joining this group of ladies. I am not a joiner, but I did join this site and I am grateful I did. If it weren't for these kind ladies sharing their honest thoughts and experiences.......I would of backed out! Your in the right place. Make sure you have a great PS. The surgery is a big one, the pain in minimal ( at least for most of us......I only took extra strength Tylenol) and the results are all worth it. If I can ever so humbly assist you with any questions, please ask me. Take care and God bless........
