I wore a binder and compression garment from day one, for two weeks. After two weeks I was switched to a girdle/spanx like garment..much more comfortable. BUT, I still wear my binder at night...I found it helps with an aching back in the evenings a bit...but I don't want to become to dependent on it! Almost four weeks post op....spanx during the day, and binder + spanx at night.....
Okay, I had extended tummy tuck, with a breast lift...no implants, on June 11th. The depression can be awful...I hate asking for help, I hate not being able to do things for myself, and I REALLY hate not getting outside much. Ugh. Happy with my results so far...a few bad areas on my tt incision that are taking time to heal, but my bl is great!~
Wow! I had my TT surgery along with BL (no implants) on the very same day as you, and you have kicked butt!! I am so impressed by all you have been able to do since! Now I feel like a wimp! LOL. My hubby and neighbor (who is in the health care field) won't let me do much...but I am grateful for them! Getting stir crazy now...whenever I am alone, I get up and do as much as I can! Can't stand sitting on my butt another day! LOL...good luck! So very happy for you!! :-)
We had our surgery on the same day! I had extended tt, and a breast lift w/no implants! I am starting to finally see what I might look like....oh and I had lipo of the thighs...inner and outer. I am excited....for you too!! :-)
Yeah....the top part of my tummy feels the strangest....like I got hit with a baseball bat...that is where they stretched the most though....my suture is still pretty numb...tingly at times. I still haven't had a BM...day 6. Ugh.
