ONE WEEK POST OP PLUS NEW PICS!!

My doctor also placed me on blood thinner shots for 2 wks plus a refill. She said that she would make me use the refill if I wasn't up and walking around after 2 wks po which was yesterday. I dreaded taking those shots everyday, they were very painful. My ps pulled my drain after only one week and I continued with my shots. However, I had to pack the drain hole everyday just in case fluid need to drain it would still have a way to drain. After 2 wks I am still walking hunched over, its a killer on my back. I only take pain meds at night when its time for bed that's when it seems like my back hurts the worse. During the day I'm fine with no meds.

I didn't know that my muscles were so severely separated and just having them fixed has made a tremendous difference in my appearance and self esteem. Am already looking on clothing websites looking at all the clothes that I can now wear that I wouldn't imagine wearing a few months ago.

Thank you...I am so happy with my results I cant imagine how its going to look once the swelling goes down. Yes, I had a pain pump after surgery. The pain pump injected numbing medicine to the incision site and it had about 4 days worth of medicine in it. When it was empty my husband just pulled it out which didn't hurt at all. Just make sure that you stay on top of taking your meds. Good Luck and I know your results will be great. I will follow your progress.

Thank You. Yes the shower bench is a life saver, however after washing up and putting the compression garment back on I am beat. I also starting to walk straighter especially after I take the muscle relaxer but when it wears off I'm crooked back over. I'm going to follow your progress.
