Hi Austin: I had an upper bleph on 3/27/09. I was wondering if you had anynmore work done? My Ps is of course very dismissive and wants me to wait a full six months. She did say because I was so upset she would do a chemical peel. Well from what I heard this is worse. And sounds more painful with more downtime because they burn off the skin on your eye lids! SO my inner eyes still have folds of skin, I know if they haven't tightened by now they aren,t going to.. If anything the skin should relax more over time! Also I think there was a surgical resident in the or that day and he told me he was assisting that day so I wonder if he did any part of the surgery? It dosent't seem ethical if you are a private pay patient who thought they went to a board certified plastic surgeon and then a resident does it. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Hi Jen-Jen: I was wondering how your chemical peel went? I had an upper bleph done almost three months ago. I'm unhappy with the results but up till now my PS insisted I had to wait 6 months to see a full result. Now she tells me I can have a peel to tighten the skin because it still looks creepy! I too am a little scared of the procedure, if you can give me soom insight I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks for your reply! I see my PS again May 1st. It will be almost 12 weeks. Still no improvement, I'm crossing my fingers that my PS will agree with me. I hate that they are so dismissive! It's not like I want to have more surgery! Thanks for your help and support! It's been a pleasure talking with you!I'll keep you posted.

thanks for getting back to me.How long did you have to wait for the first revision, and was it done in the office? Was the second procedure by the new Dr. as difilcult as the first? With the same amount of recovery time? I dred the thought of all this again. You get your hopes up only to be dissapointed again!

Hi Austin it's Renee. I'm wondering if you definitly decied to go for a revision,and how long your PS told you to wait. Can you nhave it done in 3 months? That isw what I'm hoping for because there has been no improvement in my right eye and now I'm at 5 weeks.
