Although I hate to hear that from you, Maven, it's a tiny bit comforting to know that someone is going through the same thing. :) I too have crazy itching. At this point, I'm just praying that it all eventually goes away. Sounds like it's supposed to. Thanks for your comment.

What about spotty discoloration of the skin?

So, Dr. Blinski, you are saying that even at the 3-month mark, it is normal to have a little numbness still and sensitivity to the touch? This WILL go away, right? My doctor was not clear on this. Thank you.

Hey, ladies, I just had to come back on here and give a little update. I am 3 months post-surgery and I have to tell you that I am really disappointed. I still have a little numbness, and quite a bit of discoloration (looks like spotty bruising) towards my inner thighs and the back of my legs. The two scars above my knees are so noticeable that I feel self-conscious wearing shorts. I'm just waiting for someone to ask me why I have two identical scars on my legs. Then there's the nerve issue. My skin is still a little painful when someone grabs it or it is bumped. Whenever I am out in the sun or after taking a hot bath, my legs hurt (like a tightening feeling). I understand that the laser is supposed to aid in tightening my skin, but sometimes when I crouch down or sit cross-legged, my skin pulls and it hurts (like it's too tight). Very strange. I'm not pleased and I would advise those thinking of doing this to wait awhile longer until more people can tell you about their recovery and results. It's just so new. I shouldn't have jumped into it so quickly. I am still hoping and praying that the numbness and sensitivity go away, and soon. Please don't take the decision to do this or any surgery lightly. It's a lot longer recovery than what they tell you, and in the end, you still might not get the results that you were hoping for.

I went for my 6-week appt. and there was absolutely no difference in my before and after photos. I am holding out hope still that I will see something at my 3 month mark. Happy for those who are seeing a difference. :)
