Wow, I had no idea there were so many lash growth products on the market! That is a great price. I'm interested to know how it works. Keep us posted Sunny. I'm still anxiously awaiting for my Idol Lash to arrive in the mail. I will also keep you guys posted on how it works.
The eyelash extensions you can typically get done in spas. It is a temporary solution. Usually they use mink lashes, however the ones that I had put on were a synthetic material. I am from Toronto and I used to get them done at a little Korean spa here. It takes about 1 hour and she would place 70 individual lashes on each eye. The lashes are glued individually on each of your eyelashes, so they just fall out naturally when your normal lashes fall out, or you can have them removed or refilled. They look fantastic! I got so many compliments on them, and they look completely natural. The cost can range from $80-$250. Mine were only $100 and $50 to fill them. They typically last for 4 weeks, and mascara is not necessary.
However, like I said, this is only a temporary solution. And although they looked great I feel that the stress on my natural lashes from the glue has caused my lashes to be shorter and more sparse, so I have decided to stop getting lash extensions. Its worth trying if that service is available in your area. I would just recommend that you don't do it for a long period of time. It is a great idea if you are going on vacation because your lashes always look great and you can swim etc. without wiring about mascara or anything running. Hope that helps :)
Sunny,
I just ordered a product called Idol Lash that is a natural product that claims to get similar result to Latisse. However, it takes about 4 weeks to see results, whereas I believe many women see results with Latisse after only 2-3 weeks. I have never tried any lash growth products before so I won't have much to compare it too, but I thought it would be wise to try something natural before heading a prescription product route. It cost me $66 for 2 tubes (which should last at least 2 months). I can let you know how it works out if you are interested. My package should arrive next week, and then I can update you on my lash progress by the first week of June.
