Thanks Suzi, good luck with your TT! I found this website so useful too, so many good ideas and its great to be well prepared. I'm so glad I went through with mine, I know I will still have to wait a few months before it all settles in, I mean my new tummy still feels strange...very taught and I have a numb patch below my belly button...but Im sure it will be fine in the end!
I found the first week is really rough going - both painful and emotionally draining , but gradually as the weeks pass you are able to do more. As long as you have someone to help you , a great surgeon you feel comfortable with and know what to expect then you will be fine. Best wishes to you! xo

Thanks everyone, feeling so much better! Its been 4 weeks now and its amazing how much better you feel as the weeks go. Bruising is subsiding and I can do a lot more physically.
So funny, I got my surgeon to take my day 1 photo when he was giving me a check up, lol. Will post more pics soon. xo
