Thank you so much. I feel better since I have taken a break. I have debated whether to go back to face exercise or using an FDA approved microcurrent device. Have you ever used microcurrent in addition to the face exercises?
I haven't given up yet, but I'm just taking a break for awhile and need to figure out a better program for myself. I think if you are performing exercises improperly they can cause some pain and increase headaches.
I overdid it with some of the face exercises and had to back off. It's difficult when you are not following a program and just picking and choosing from a variety of sources. It's not working for me so far.
You might want to try facial exercises. There is even a thread on real self that talks in detail about face exercises and the experiences people have had with it. It takes time, it is not an overnight fix, but for me it has lead to subtle improvements with minimal risks. There are exercises that can be done for lips and around the mouth.
