i got implants many years ago for different reasons, and amone of the unfortunate who has had complications. most people do recover very well, but when you dont than several proccedures may be the result. my suggestion to you is to find and talk to more surgeonswho work with fat transfers before making the leap. you cannot go back once its done. my most recent surgery required complete implant exchange and pocket removal on problem side as one is fine and one is not(this can happen), as well as fat grafting to cover posible damage from pocket rebuilding. my surgeon generally has a fat survival rate of 70 to 80%, and i too am thin. i needed to put on some weight for harvesting, and must keep it on for healing. some doctors specialize in combination surgery, using small implants and fat grafting together, which to me would have been the choice had it been available during my first operation. so much to consider, i wish you well with whatever you decide, unlike others i believe, even after my own bad situation, that you should do what is neccesary to be as well in your own skin as possible

I think people fail to realize that these treatments turn out different on different skin types, what works for one may not be good for another, and also the person performing the treatment is in large part responsible for the end result. For example, I have rather sensitive skin and there is no way I would allow a doctor to convince me to sign up for a six treatment program without seeing the results of one or two sessions. I set the rules when it comes to what is done to my skin, I don't care about your special deal package promos, and I know my face better than anyone else.
