I am almost at the 5 week period of my arm lipo and tt. You have to wear the arm sleeves faithfully to help with the formation of the tissues and lumps. The lumps change every so often but my doctor reassured me that it will contour itself by the final result. My arms are much smaller than they were, which were noticable immediately. I didn't have a great deal of swelling but there are still some sore spots and bruising on one arm but my clothes fit much better. I went from wearing an xl because of my arms and tummy to a medium shirt. My arms look great but the results aren't final as of yet. Thanks for sharing the info about the pineapples, you know hawaii has the best sweetest pineapples and I love them. I haven't really massaged my arms except in the morning in my shower with the exfoliating cloth and lotion or cocoa butter stick after my shower. Other than that, it was worth it. Just hang in there.
I wasn't in pain immediately after but about 30 minutes later it was a great deal of pain. However, after they hit me with a shot of demarol I was fine. Didn't have pain as long as I took the pain medication on time. Don't wait til it's unbearable to take your meds because it takes 30 minutes for it to kick in. I hardly had pain but I did vomit a couple of days later and felt like my stomach ripped (not painful but pressure) but the doctor said it was normal but wouldn't effect the results (it hasn't) but to put a pillow over your stomach whenever you cough, vomit, or sneeze.
I had a TT 2 weeks ago and I lost like 10 lbs. so far. I'm not sure if it's because of my backaching, drinking all of that water, or just not being as hungry but I am so happy with the results thus far. It was definitely worth it. I did only lose 2 to 4 lbs after the surgery but the skin was gone. My doctor said he took off 2.5 inches off my arm (each), 4 lbs of skin from my tummy, and I'm not sure how much fat from the lipo or TT itself. I was swollen but I am losing weight daily so far. I just don't feel hungry much at all these days but I force myself to eat.
Why would anyone be mad about never doing situps again? I can't stand doing them I have a great tummy crunching waist band that is gives you the same soreness and results as a situp but without the backache of sit up. The research says you shouldn't do crunches or anything strenuous for at least 6 months so enjoy the shape and drink lots of water to reduce swelling.
