A Little over two months post op and NO REGRETS!!! - North Port, FL

Jen! Come on now! You've come to far to back out now. YOU IS KIND< YOUR IS SMART< YOU IS IMPORTANT! You do deserve this and you are not just nlowing money on yourself. Think of it this way, You have a medical need this is important to your well being. If you do not get it done and remain in a deep deppression and/or end up not loving yourself it is going to not only effect you it will effect your entire family as well. You have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. You are full of nerves right now. You need to keep yourself preoccupied with a project and stop letting negative people get to you. Your family will be there when this is all done and over with just like they are now.

Armywife72-What business is this of people you work with? They are noisy busy bodies that have nothing better to do then to render their own misery on others such as yourself! After having my surgery I am the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. Sure there are many things we could have done with the money. We too just had to let our home go into short sale. It's on our credit for three years. It's the economy and quit frankly I am tickled pink to be out from under the headache this house was causing us. Both of you have earned this, keep up your spirits and stop feeling guilty about finally taking some much needed TLC for yourselves!

aawww thank you Blonde. I removed some of the photos that identified me. Because my hubby is going into the military I cannot have anything posted that could cause him some trouble. I was going to delete the account but I wanted to keep up with everyone to see how they are doing. It's getting so much closer for you!!! ;D

Not a problem anytime!

My husband helped get me up. He made me let him pick me up into a standing position with me using my legs to push up. He would count to 3 and he would lift me as I pushed with my legs. I had a tendency to hold my breath due to the pain but he would tell me breath. So take a deep breath just before the person helping you says 3 hold it and let it out. Once your on your feet get your balance it may take a couple of seconds to feel like the room is no longer spinning. It's VERY important to get up and walk around as much as possible after surgery to prevent a blood clot and when your sitting in your chair keep doing circular motions with your feet and bring your legs up toward your chest as much a possible to keep the circulation going. My husband made me wear ted hose for my first week after surgery because I was taking pain pils that knocked me out. ;D
