Jlr819 - you have definitely seen improvement. Even if you had tanned, it would not have made as much of an improvement as you are showing. If getting a tan could make as much of a difference as has been suggested (and as your latest after photo demonstrates), then none of us would be needing to consider this procedure! I find it hard to believe that anyone would try to dispute the significance of your improvement based on your well-lit after photo. You look great!

Funny, I actually think my skin looks darkest in the before photo (back of legs)! I have never tanned - not in the sun, not in tanning beds and not with sunless tanning lotion or sprays (horrible smell!) I posted new photos from my visit last week. The lighting was the same - as controlled as possible. But, even prior to last week's final appointment and photos, I was seeing the improvement. And feedback from the two individuals who knew I had this done indicated that they saw the most significant improvement in the back of the legs over the last month. These individuals have been very skeptical, so it was good to get their acknowledgement. While I disagree with your assessment that every "positive" reviewer is incapable of determining that this works for her, you are entitled to that opinion. I know this procedure doesn't work for everyone - that is clear in the negative reviews, which I do not dispute (and I certainly do not discount their opinions.) It is unfortunate that a person has to spend the money before she will know if the procedure will work. Ultimately, what really matters is how I feel and I am happy with how my legs look and I feel this process has been worth it.

I don't really know how to assess percentage of improvement, but maybe I'd say around 70% or more on sides and front and 50% back. Hopefully, the back will continue to tighten up over the next several months as the surgeon expects. From what I have read, Dr. Petti is highly skilled and I think that is key for this procedure. Don't be too nervous...it really was not bad. I've had worse discomfort from getting cavities filled and getting my mammogram! The only discomfort that really remains in my head was the numbing, which was over fairly quickly.

Hi - Note that the contact information for the "My Doctor" section above is for the "wrong" Jason Miller, MD (this doctor appears to be in Omaha, not Durham.) Unless I am mistaken, MsChixley saw Jason Miller, MD in Durham, NC @ Renewal Body Contouring.

Hi, my bruising finally went away in the last month. I still have tenderness upon pressure, especially on the back of my legs, but certainly nothing painful. The incision scars are still dark red and it is obvious that "something" happened in those areas, but I am not sharing those details with my friends! Funny how I will post anonymously (with photos even) but won't tell my friends that I got this done. It's my way of avoiding judgmental comments. Hope you continue to heal well and improve!
