I had similar problems with the shoulder blade and neck pain .. I'm almost 4 weeks postop and that was the very first thing I noticed - pain gone! You may also be surprised with what you're left with, especially if you've gained some weight. When I got my BA, I was 110 pounds and barely a 34A. I was a 34C after surgery and then gained weight over the last 11 years I've had them and ended up a 36DD. I just got measured two days ago after my explant surgery and I'm a 36C (plenty of tissue left). They're saggy and squishy but they're all me. The people that know I explanted say I don't look any different - I think they project more but they're definitely not as wide (my implants were into my armpits). Anyway, sorry to ramble, just felt like we had some similarities. Also, with regard to the lift - I would recommend waiting at least 6 months to see what you're left with. If you look through the profiles on here, you'll see a lot of us waited and ended up not needing or not wanting it. You'll be surprised how your body changes on its own - I love my post-explant breasts 1,000 times more than I liked them before my augmentation - whether it's because I don't remember what they looked like, or it's just been such a journey.
I agree with the others - follow what your PS says. I'm STILL in a compression wrap (surgery was 12/21) - my next appt is 1/15 and I'm expecting to be released from it then. My boobs changed SO MUCH in the first week - I would stop yourself from looking if you can ... just wait it out and see what you're left with. I had dimples and slopes (felt like they were sliding down my chest) but am slowly learning to love them. I know it's hard, but try to be patient. Gentle hugs!
You're on day 2 - rest and relax and don't worry too much about what they look like. They will change so much, so quickly - just rest and let your body heal. For what it's worth, I think you look great!
LeahMerril - all implants cause a capsule to build around the implant (scar tissue). Sometimes it's paper thin (like Annette's), and sometimes it becomes thicker (this is what can cause capsular contracture). Different doctors have different views on whether the capsule should be removed, plus as the patient, you can have a say in that. The recovery is harder when you have the capsule removed (I had implant removal and capsulectomy on 12/21). Some doctors say a thin capsule will be reabsorbed by your body - others say the capsule should always come out.
