Kathleend, So sorry you are experiencing Baker IV Hematoma. As far as preparing for the possible emotional outcome i.e." I may experience depression." You may not experience depression. Any type of loss can be hard. What you are losing is the idea the breasts you wanted, not the Baker IV damaged breasts. It's normal to feel scared. I was too but I am so glad I got them out I feel healthier and surprisingly sexier because my real breast tissue is soft and warm. Have you considering making a list of all the benefits of having the implants removed, then looking at that list when you feel down? Best of luck to you. So happy for you on this journey. Please post an update. Thank you for expressing your true feelings.

Hi Smileagain. I am so excited for you! How did the surgery go? Don't worry it is very likey you will love your orginal breasts. To answer your question- Yes they have fluffed up, I am surprised how good they look considering that I had saline implants removed back in 1999 then slicone implanted ( mistake) and explanted for good now. You are brave!

How long have you wanted them out? The idea of perfect breasts is a fantasy. Letting go of the idea, greiving the idea was har fo rme. There is no such thing as perfect. Having the implants looked better from a distance but up close they do not feel the same as real breasts. The freedom to embrace some one without them being in the way is freeing. Simple living, zen, streamlined. Less is more. Now I am inspired to get rid of the rest of the clutter in my life. I am wondering what inspired some of the other people to let go of their implants? What else in your life would you like to let go of? Reading the 100 thing challenge by Dave Bruno pretty inspiring. I just got rid of 2 extra things I didn't need.

Congrats! I am glad you received support from your husband. Hope you are feeling better soon. Just think how great you"ll feel if you decide to jog once you have healed.
