I also blame this on the company Lumineers because they advertise NO PREP required which catches peoples attention Lumineers are thinner than regular veneers which catches peoples attention because they dont want there teeth filed down. I dont think anybody should ever get lumineers if you are that unhappy with your smile to begin with than Im sure you wouldnt mind putting on original or davinci veneers yes your teeth need to be shaved down but its worth it if you hate your teeth. Lumineers are thin which make them easier to crack and you have to be careful of what you eat Lumineers are just a type of veneers and is a bs company and i would never get them just because there cheaper no no no. Im paying that much money i expect the teeth to be shaped at the lab not my dds. Spend the extra money and be happy. Lumineers are a big oxymoron they say they give you the smile you want these things say no prep if you want it to look real they need to be prepped so if you need them to be prepped then get a different brand Lumineers are stupid and i feel bad for people who fall for there trick. Go with a different veneer company a def go to a cosmetic dentist as you both no what you want!!
Lumineers are advertised as min or no prep at all, I dont know why they advertise that because a good dentist will need to prep them depending on your teeth and the thickness of your teeth. If you have thick teeth to begin with then your teeth need to be prepped. If your teeth are thick and it is not prepped your teeth are going to appear bulky and look fake and thats not the results you want and the only thing good about not being prepped is they can be removed but why would someone want them to be removed in the first place look at the price of how much they cost. If you knew they would look like this you would never want them. Your dentist should of explained this to you. Sorry for your trouble and disappointment hopefully you can find a better dentist who can fix your problem and its very important to go to a dentist who did hundreds of these cases with actual pictures of people who had these procedures. Im sorry but I would never let a dds shave of my real teeth If Im uncertain of there work I m unhappy with my teeth and Im trying to save up for veneers for my top teeth I think its important to wait to research different dentists before you go ahead with it because you cant get your old teeth back and you dont want to waste all your money and then have to get it redone because you are unhappy with the outcome. And dont look at the price when picking a dentist remember it is true you get what you pay for. Go to someone who has a good rep that may be more expensive but look at it this way if its cheap it cant be that good and if you go to the cheaper place your going to wind up having to paying double the amount of money.
