I'm in the same boat still AlmostFamous. The discoloration is better and looks ok most of the time, but gets worse when my lap gets hot (from my laptop) or I exercise. I also still have small painful lumps under the skin on the inside of my thighs, and still have swelling and lumpy areas too that are slightly sore to the touch on the front and back of my thighs. I'm 19 1/2 weeks in and am hoping this all resolves eventually. Scars are fading, but still very noticeable. I'm hoping by next summer this is all a distant memory!
Amen Kathyrph!! I couldn't have said it better myself! This is a long, painful and complicated road and I sincerely hope any woman considering this surgery comes to this forum and knows what they are in for as opposed to what's out there which is completely WRONG.
I know very well that feeling you are talking about - I'd get it in the middle front and middle back of my thighs really badly. I'm am 6 weeks out now and it's pretty much gone (I can only slightly feel it when I go from sitting to standing and it isn't painful at all). I assume it's normal since a lot of us on this board have the exact same thing.
Omg that is AMAZING!!! Wish I had heard about that a month ago - I would have run to a rehabilitation clinic!! I still have some deep bruising and I'm 5 weeks out as of today! Your after pictures look great, btw. Do you see a big difference from how you looked before surgery?
