Just wanted to quickly say that I have been keeping up with your recovery..and WOW, you look GREAT! If I didnt know it..I would say your girls look like they are at least 2 months or more out from surgery. You are healing so good! I use the Palmers Skin Therapy Oil..and absolutely LOVE it. :)
Im doing good :) Still trying to "be okay" with the fact Im not the D cup I was expecting..but a C. Silly I know. Still living in my sports bras..I love them! All incisions are closed...except for one TINY spot which is no biggie at this point.
I also wanted to say..that us "women" in general have our ups and downs day by day. Ive had my fair share through this process. You have to look at the BIG picture. You DID better your life. and You WILL find a man who will love you for you...AND your not so perfect boobs. I just read Iowa's comment and she made a lot of really good points. What man IS perfect? None of them are. And to be honest I have found that they could careless about any of our "flaws". Im gonna jump on the bandwagon and say that I will say nothing but the truth come January about your girls. okay? :) We are in this together.
Okay girlfriend: =)
BIG HUGS..first.
2nd, I see all your concern areas. But let me just say that "aren't we all our worst critic?" Have you ever had a zit, spot on your shirt, chipped polish, ashy legs...and you mention it to someone and they are like "I didnt even notice!!"...kind of the case here.. :) No matter how "settled" we might feel right now...because the last 2+ weeks have been our "normalist" weeks since our surgery! When I went for my 8 week post op last week...my PS said quote/unquote "Don't get use to these boobs, because they are going to change quite a bit between now and the next four months when I see you again." I was surprised by this...but that IS 6 months...which is what EVERYONE who has been through this says is the mark when the boobs you are looking at are the boobs your going to have. Start working on massaging/scar treatment..I think you will see a significant change by month 6 my friend. I love your "at home" sports bra..the girls look REALLY good in it.
If you are still unhappy at your 6 months then talk to your PS..it took a lot of mental/physical/financial struggle to do this..and by God you should be happy with the new you.
Sammy!!! Ive been wondering about you! Thanks for the awesome comment! Ill tell you what..the last 2 weeks have been SOOOOO awesome! Im still struggling with the fact im a C and not a D..but it doesnt really matter in the end. I finally have proportionate breasts..and for that I am thankful! I HEAR you as far as the girls being "wider"..maybe wider than I would have liked..but now Im nit-picking. lol ;-)
Yes...def over the moon! I think they fit my frame perfect too..my doctor did a great job I must say. My scars arent too bad are they? Started using the Palmers oil more since all those stinking stitches are all out! :D Thanks for the compliments, I appreciate them very much!!
