I had some pleating too....on the sides and yes it went away. Just took about 2 or 3 weeks. I'm at 6 weeks post op and I'm trying to stay away from questioning the scar results at this point bc it's still very early and I have to keep reminding myself that the body needs time to heal. You can go check out my pics to see the pleating. Happy Healing!

My truck is lifted (I have to grab the handles and pull myself in on a regular day!) and I got into it just fine when I left the hospital....the ride was the worst part. Too bumpy and very uncomfortable! I had a 4 hour drive to my house!!! Longest ride ever. I should have stuck to the BMW or the Mini that I also have. I just mistakenly thought that I would appreciate the space of being in the truck.

I just had my TT (no MR) and lipo of the thighs on 13 Apr and also have a Mini cooper. I was just fine when I started driving at PO Day 10. And it is a standard vehicle -- no problems shifting or driving. I have a large lifted truck too and I thought it was much more uncomfortable in the truck -- because the truck feels every bump in the road and rides so much higher that my body felt like it was being bounced around so I would stick to the mini. I had barely any bruising and my swelling has been minimal compared to what other people complain of. I did find that I was very emotional after the surgery mostly because it becomes difficult day after day to realize that you cannot do everything on your own. You have to have help. I hate relying on anyone, even my husband. I took Arnica and I think that made a huge difference on my bruising and swelling.
Well Good luck!!! You will be happy you did this!!! I know it was the best decision ever for me.
