Hello again--I am now 1 month postop on 3rd step of FAT grafting (my surgeon believes in slowly building layers of good-survival-potential fat grafting). I also had a neck lift (YIPPEE) and that is the THE BEST improvement of all. Huge change. Wearing hair up and have a better profile than 15 or 20 years ago. Palo Alto Medical Foundation---good place to go.
Under-ey FG must be deep, done on bone level. My 1st FG in eye area had lumps which went away, but results were 30% (MD said). Since my wise MD does FG in 3 stages (months apart), each go-around builds on the former. Those fragile little FAT cells take a while to hold (be gentle for months--I do not even sleep on my side). My 2nd step of Face FG, included eye area again, and this time, MD did deeper FG/Bone level injections, which took better. Good luck to you. RN who has been there
I had FG done under local anesthetic X 2--no problems at all. Gen Anesthetic seems too much for such a simple procedure. Just Chill out and HOLD STILL.
Good results......Tell us about the incisions (scars) under your chin and behind the ears. How do these look now? (Remind us of your surgery date, please) THX
