I have 600 cc high profile gels ( you can look at my photo under the heading: "Are my breasts too big?") I am 128 pnds, 5"7 with a narrow chest and I started with an A cup. I am 32" around and according to the types of bras I wear I am a DDD. That sounds enormous but it really isn't....

Even if your old smaller ones were infront of the muscle and this time they are behind the muscle, you should not lose that much. The shape should still not be affected and they should of turned out to be bigger and round in shape.

Honestly, something is not right. Not sure if I can state my opinion here but it sounds like she may of used implants from her office stock maybe instead of ordering new ones that you requested. I have high profiles too and I know that they stand out more than a moderate profile would.

You are right, that makes no sense especially when you had other implants to compare these new ones with. Are you sure you got high profile? Usually when they are flat, they are more of the moderate profile. Nevertheless you went twice bigger this time so you would think that they would be bigger not smaller. If it were me I would go in there and present all the facts to her and ask to see your implant ID cards. If you post your concerns onto the ASK A DOCTOR section, you will see that they too would be surprised with this...If everything was the same except this time with bigger implants, it would be expected that you would end up with bigger implants! I would be furious...You should be at least one full size bigger. Don't settle, go back in there and talk to you PS

From all that I have read and having had several different sized implants over the years myself, to my knowledge is that a 500 cc implant is going to look one way on one person and look totally different on another person. That is with both girls being of the same pre-op cup size. Even it their build is similar, they will look different on each of them. Every girls chest structure is different. Mine is more concave and I am very slender with hardly any body fat. I have 600 cc high profiles gels and they are larger sized breasts but not huge.
