Thanks, looking a little better every day and the swelling and soreness has decreased quite a bit. Of course, some of that may be due to getting my period this morning. I've been sleeping a few hours every afternoon and dread giving up my naps next week!

Hi Serenepeace, I just checked out your profile and you look great! My incisions look just like yours. I figure I'll get some of that miracle silicone sheeting if they don't seem to smooth out and fade. The PS said that he took a little over 400 gm from each breast. He thought he would only take 300 but there was more to me than he first thought. He said about a total of 2 pounds. Hope your healing goes well too!

Thanks,.so far I'm very happy with the results. This weekend I learned a tough lesson about doing too much too soon....I'm now pretty sore feeling around the incisions and swollen. A friend who had a different kind of surgery last year reminded me of her ”only do one thing a day during recovery” rule. I'm going to stick to it for a little while. I guess shopping, movie and dinner out counts as three. :-P Also going to start taking the arnica and bromelain my PS gave me on a regular basis. Have those made a difference for anyone else?

Hi mshill, I was worried about my stomach looking fatter too. The truth is...now I can see it looking down so I do notice it more. However, from straight on in the mirror, my whole torso looks longer since it's no longer hidden by the boobs and the overall effect is very trimming. My boyfriend thinks I look great. Don't worry too much about your stomach. You'll have plenty of time and energy to work on that later if you want to and you'll feel and look so much lighter after your surgery. Good luck and I'll cross my fingers for an early surgery date. Congrats for quiting smoking....I know that's tough, but it will really help your recovery too!
