An update. I went to another doctor who this time only injected me with 12 units. I am so happy because I don't have any of the issues experienced before and will go back for a top up in a week. I do not even know I've had it, so I would put a lot of these effects down to having too many units. That's at least my experience now. I was just getting too many units previously. So perhaps drop the dose right down initially and then a top up a couple of weeks after.
I'm a male who has had a second treatment for my frown line. The first time was horrendous with Anxiety, sleeplessness and felt like an elephant was sitting on my forehead. I decided to try a second time around 3 weeks ago. On day 5 the anxiety started with the forehead heaviness and lasted for 3 days. Although I knew what to expect it was still a bit of an ordeal. I also had a really bad sinus issue and was blocked and snuffly and in pain and have never had sinus issues before. I suspect My doctor may have dosed me too much on both occasions. I also felt extreme tiredness on Day 7. From day 8 the symptoms started going away and happy with the result but am certain the anxiety and other side effects where due to this. I will be seeking the advise of another Botox doctor before proceeding next time and perhaps staggering the dosage. When I explained to the doctor he said it was all in my mind. Funny that. Seems there are also a lot of other people with the same horrendous side effects. Sorry to hear, hope you are all feeling better.
