    Sculptra is classified as a medical device - as it has a mechanical mode of action. It does not have a pharmacological mode of action on the body.
    Essentially this means that Sculptra - stimulates the body to produce collagen - thus the body fills itself. Rather than chemically inducing something.
    You will find that all Dermal Fillers (Radiesse, Juvederm, Restylane) are the same.
