I’m really sorry. It breaks my heart to hear that people are being mean and saying that. Do you feel like this is the right decision? Our decision to help our nose better fit our face is not vain or superficial. Maybe those who are putting you down about your decision are dealing with their own insecurities. I’d never pressure anyone or try to convince them to have surgery, I just know that for me… it’s a decision that I’ve finally made after years of contemplation. If this is what you want, do it. You are going to look amazing & you have a great support system on this site!

I’m so sorry to hear there are people in your life that aren’t being supportive to this happy time in your life. This decision is about YOU and what you want. Surround yourself with friends and family who are supportive and who want you to be happy with your new look! It won’t change you entirely, just improve what you have! I did decide to share this experience with immediate family and just a handful of close friends. Luckily for me they have all been very supportive because they know that this is something I’ve wanted for a long time. Whatever makes me happy makes them happy. Stay strong and stick with what you want! Don’t let other discourage this decision, especially if you’ve done your research! What are the people in your life saying about your decision?

Honestly, from the front I think my nose looks normal... it's just the profile view. I was tormented when I was younger (13-17) people would call me a "Jew" or ask me if my family was in the holocaust because my nose was so big. People are cruel. I'm just excited for this new time in my life :)
