I think you'll probably be fine. I was up and going from the first day, however it was difficult to get up from the bed. Make sure you sleep propped up with pillows, so its easier to get out of bed, I didn't know that in the beginning. I still cannot sleep on my side like I normally do, so I haven't slept well since my surgery over a week ago .....
Just try to take it easy, make sure you have meals ready so you don't have to work on that. Lots of pineapple for the swelling, and chicken soup were my meals the first couple of days, I was not very hungry anyway. Good luck!!!
The incisions look ugly, hence the bra!, but they are healing, I am up and about with virtually no pain and both my doc and I are happy with my recovery thus far
