Lollest! Your misery makes me laugh!

Look, I will be honest with you: It idoes NOT go without pain – like any other procedure where anaesthetics are required – but that is something you have to clear in your own mind. I found that the fear of pain is sometimes worse that the pain itself, for example, when I’m on my back and want to get up, my head convinces me that it’s going to be hell. Then I get up slowly, not knowing where to touch or pull or whatever. However, when I force myself NOT to think about it and just get off the bed it’s much easier and not painful at all.

On the other hand, it is MUCH less painful than I thought it would be, and tummy area is the most sensitive to pain. Definitely not as painful as a c-section. I find that it’s more a “stiff” feeling than pain – almost like the pain in muscles after a hectic workout. It’s really not a case of “OE-OUCH-DAMN-YOU MOTHERTRUCKER-DAMN-SHUCKS-OOEEEEE” it’s more a “oe-oe-ouch-ouch-oe-oe”.

You are very fortunate to have your hubby’s support. You will need someone to help you in and out the garment, especially on day 2 when you take your first shower. Mine did, and I don’t know what I would’ve done without him. Since you have low pain tolerance, I would advise that you force yourself to start moving around from day 2.

Yes, I am very happy with the results. My tummy is still swollen, but I can already see the tire is gone. You have to make peace with this before you go. Do you want to avoid any possibility of pain and make peace with your body, or are you prepared to put up with pain for a period of time but have the tummy you’ve always desired? The choice is yours.

I know exactly what you’re going through. It’s not easy making this decision, so ask as many questions you want and do as much research as possible.

Hi AussieRose - yes I agree. I would hate to wear this suit in summer! Covering up is also much easier with winter clothes.
Mo, I can vouch for Atkins. Fantastic diet, and very healthy. I had to place an order for my book through Exclusive Books coz it's always out of stock. Try Kalahari.com - they will deliver the book to you. I would advise anyone to get the book because he explains everything in detail.

Carbs is my biggest enemy. What I found helps with carb cravings is Glutemine. I use the Solal Technologies.
