Hey!!! Since I've updated with my revision I was thinking about you! How is your healing going and how are things looking? I hope you're doing okay! :-)
petitemom - wow, you look amazing! You are going to look tiny in a few months - your PS did a wonderful job! Overall, my revision took 1.5 hours, but he didn't expect it to take that long - it was the fibrous scar tissue that slowed us down. I was awake the whole time. I am not squeamish at all, and while there were definitely parts that were unpleasant, I could definitely do it again if I had to. Yes, I got local injection to numb the pain, then the tumescent fluid provides additional numbing. He inserted the cannula at either end of the TT incision to avoid more scars. But, because I have fat accumulation around the back of the flank I got two more pokes in my lower back. Very small. No antibiotics before surgery. There is still significant swelling at 7 weeks, so you may be surprised. But if you still have the fullness I imagine your revision will be a breeze and you'll amazing when all is said and done! Unfortunately for me, I still see some un-eveness on my 'fat' side; however, it could just be that I have extra skin that he will need to remove. Eh, whatever - I'm going to do my best to be patient and see if it goes down, I know I've still got a good bit of fluid and swelling going on now. Good luck & happy healing.
Hey girl! Thanks for checking in. All is well - I just had a little lipo revision yesterday. I will post an update to my profile soon. How are you doing? And how is your fabulous figure and booty? ;)
