Fraxel Restore: So Far I've Had 4 of 6 Treatments for Acne Scars

Your doctor shouldn't have done the procedure on you if you didn't need it! Make sure you always have sun screen on and please don't do anymore sessions. Many people including myself, are not happy with the results of fraxel; texture of skin has gotten worse. The texture of my skin was good prior to fraxel, but I had some acne scars which is the reason I did it. I had 6 sessions and went to a well known doctor.

Don't do it! It doesn't matter where you go! It makes no difference and it does do some damage to the skin. I wish I never got it done!

Thanks for your input! I've had a total of 4 so far and have 2 more to go. For some reason I notice my scars look better every other treatment. My 1st was amazing and I noticed results, my 2nd treatment looked like crap and the scars were more noticeable and my skin was discoloured, 3rd treatment looked great 3 weeks after-skin colour was amazing and the scars were improved bigtime! My 4th treatment again shows my scars more! I'm not sure why this is happening? I'm still waiting for the results I paid for! I know it takes months to see the actual improvements. When was your last Fraxel? What levels did they do? My next treatment will be done at 35; 40 is the highest they will go.

Does the new skin not surface shortly after the treatment? I get major bronzing 3 days after my fraxel and I thought that this was the damaged skin repairing itself? What do the doctors say about what happened to you? I would fight tooth and nail and insist on them finding some sore of a solution to your problem because its just not right. I hope to God my treatments go well because I've already paid for my 6 and want my acne scars gone.

When you were getting the treatments did your skin look okay or did you start getting the sores? Did you get pimples while doing your fraxel?
