    It is 12 weeks now and nearly all the 'pulling' has subsided and scars are less evident. Very relieved and happy. Occasionally I get a slight twinge which apparently is the nerve tissue reconnecting. I have a tightening feeling also when I am tired too. I saw a surgeon here recently and he was happy with my progress.

    Saw Gary Lieu at Epworth Hospital, one of the loveliest people I've ever met. He said at 9 weeks it was too soon to tell. It could loosen with healing time and would review it in another 3 months. If it were to be still a problem he would do a scar review and Z plasty. So now we wait ;) getting a second opinion really helped and seeing such a kind genuine professional alleviated my concerns :)

    Hi Helen, how are things now? I am at 9 weeks I think, (had surgery 12th Feb 2012). My eyelids are starting to feel more natural and look better than they feel! Sometimes they feel quite tight and I have a slight pulling on the inner eye between lid and nose. Am having it checked by a plastic surgeon tomorrow, second opinion ;)

    I am quite happy with the work done, but you must check out their before and after photos and don't just go on my say so. I have not completely healed yet because it can take up to a year for that so final results are not at hand. There has been a slight glitch, I have noticed a slight 'pulling' in the corner of my eye and am seeing a plastic surgeon here in Melbourne for advice. Will keep you updated. Karyn
