Groucho, could please write an email to my address, then we can talk about some issues: email@example.com I'm in contact with some women who have developed side effects from laser hair removal (LHR). Usually people are reporting hyperhidrosis, but some also with bad smell. No doubt that 100% of these affected women regret this procedure (including me!). And I agree with you that the main cause of everything is the "weird beautification" imposed mainly to women, explored by doctors and clinincs interested in lucre. There is a resistance from the doctors in accepting this side effect, obviously. So, I briefly talked to a physicist especialized in laser over biological tissues. He says it's quite possible that the laser could have altered the sweatin process, but couldn't explain the mechanism. It's crucial that all these cases are reported in order to prevent other people to suffer the same and also to support new research regarding this area. I'm finishing my PhD related to molecular biology and proteomics, so I'm looking for scientific studies related to laser effects, which are very few. That's why we need to show the importance of reporting all the cases!
