Thank you, Lisalou for your beautiful words. You have made me look at my decision to get them done with new eyes. I used to regret it but I think you are absolutely right. If I hadn't got them done and then removed them (largely in part to be a good example for my 11-year old stepdaughter who was not in the picture when I had them in) I wouldn't have learned to love myself for who I am. I would still have been hating my boobs (hated them before). Now, one week post-explant, I am loving them and grateful that I am recovering well and oh so happy that I can be a positive role model for my sweetie.
naturalagain, thank you for posting your pics. Your post-op breasts look a lot like mine. I had my implants removed on the 29th and saw my breasts today and, though happy to have the implants gone, was a bit disappointed with how they looked. Deep down I was hoping to see the old 34a/b pre-implant me and right now they feel somewhat loose from the rest of me. I feel much better with a sports bra on then off. I am optimistic that with time things will tighten up (my implants were under the muscle) and I am very happy to have breasts that complement my slim build and not look so top heavy. Congratulations on your decision and best wishes to you with your recovery :)
