Above is a link I hope it works it is a link Angie posted that I found after my surgery but thought it would be so great to have before! Give yourself time.... funny how opening doors and little things, like vacuuming the floor are not the same for a while! We do not realize how much we use the pectorals but when there is am implant back there, we are reminded. ;-)
wingsredhot, You will love the armpit incision! NO marks on the breast is a great way to go!! I honestly would feel self conscious in intimate situations bout having scars on my breasts. Like, (hey turn off the light - eeek!) I hardly notice them at all ans know they will be not even hardly visible at 3 months and probably gone by 4 and the Dr. says gone by 6. Mine are looking great! I have not used scar creams either. You really should try to keep the arms down for the first couple of weeks as much as you can. Prep the house for this and have step stools to help you to behave. After 3 weeks my Dr. had me stretching. It was un comfortable but felt great after. When ever I would feel the pectoral muscles spasm I would also do a quick stretch with my arm against a wall over my head on each side to stop that. This helped with my healing and softening. I am 2 months out and SO happy I did this. The soreness has totally left and they are really nice, natural and soft now. Only to surpass my expectations next month I am sure! The pictures I posted (nude) were at 44 days (changed out my pictures) I think I look way better now but have not taken more yet.. I have been sick and busy too. Will up date that and take a picture of my scar to show too. It is amazing! OH and I have o numbness or loss of feeling. When I would over-do at first I would get a zinger in the back of my arm and then it would hurt and get a topical numbness. I treated it withe ice and heat and tried to be better. Stuff happens - it is hard to be so patient with the inside healing. Inside just takes longer!
Glad you are doing so well in your recovery. Funny thing about my experience is that after the muscles in the chest began to relax the breasts seem to get bigger. Maybe that is what they mean when they say dropping and fluffing. Because of my incision and/or the pocket placement, mine seemed quite natural shaped from the beginning and not overly high or anything so I was happy. Good thing for me too because, If I would have looked like some of the photos I see here I would have FREAKED OUT, even thought the later ones show great improvement in the settling! I thought one of mine was about a 1/8 of an inch off center early on... picky - right? Yeah, I would have freaked out! They are perfect looking now. You will notice at about 2-3 months out they will look really fantastic but maybe bigger than you thought they would end up, so don't buy too many VS bras! (expensive)..... I just bought a swim suit on-line from VS super cute one piece with dripped ruffled shoulder straps. No VS bras yet but, some great comfy bra finds in the clearance isles at other stores. I cannot wear underwire until end of October. Yeah... about the man working at the VS store, If he came up to me with a tape measure (you know how they all walk around with one around their necks, asking if you need to be measured for a bra)...Haha.....I would run the other way! That is nuts! I prefer to shop on-line too!
You will definitely be a full D maybe a DD even. After the muscles relax and allow for the fluff I noticed - I looked bigger - but not so high so it is a natural big....Not to worry they will look exactly like your dream pic. It will take some time and maybe the use of a strap But, Some doctors use them some don't. Trust the doc you will look great.
