  • Posted to Very Comfortable Experience, Now Have Permanent Damage.. - New York, NY on 9 Apr 2012

    Hello cveroleyva,

Thanks for posting your experience. I have signed up for a package of 6 fractional co2 just last month, but after reading so many reviews online, I've decided NOT to do the procedure. I doubt they are going to refund my money but i'll ask anyway. If they dont refund, I might use that for hair removal on armpit instead. I haven't done any research on hair removal but hopefully not as scary as any laser that goes on the face! All the best in your healing, and thanks for being so brave to warn us.

Congrats on the wonderful result! Would you be able to share some photos? My mom is considering to try fractional laser but she thought since she's in her late 50s her recovery ability should be slow therefore might lead to poor result.

    Hello,

Just wondering how is your skin healing and did you go back for more treatment?

Do you know if the doc used high or low settings on your skin? I've read somewhere that Restore is not as aggresive and therefore should be safer and minimum downtime? I'm considering to do fractional laser for my acne scar but a bit scared of the outcome!

    Hello,
Just wondering how your skin is now? Has it recovered? I have just signed up a few sessions with a fairly reputable clinic and their procedures are done by a doctor (not sure of his qualification but the clinic has been here for 10 years). I have yet to do my 1st session but a bit hesitant now that i have read a few bad experience with laser. The one I signed up for is fractional laser for rejunevation (not the resurfacing type which is more aggressive). I'm thinking what you said about doing a patch test, because I'm not sure if the doctor would do that for me and how long do i need to wait to see if the patch test is "safe"?
