I definitely remember the days of spilling out of dresses that I loved. And even when they were too big they didn't hold up well in the bust. Now I can wear pretty much whatever I want and I love that! Keep on moving forward. I am confident that you will not regret your decision. I posted my before pictures so that you can see the difference!
My experience is a little different than you because I wet down to a B, but I would say that any reduction would make a difference. Partly because they do a lift with the reduction so your breasts won't be pulling down as much as they are. I feel the way I imagine I would if I were a 17 year old with a B cup. It's amazing.
Hey! Just wanted to weigh in on some of your posts! I am 3 1/2 months post op and everything is coming out fine. I had some of the same worries as you when it came to puckering stitches, areola size and nipple sensation. Now everything is fine. the stitches even out and flatten. The areola does everything it's supposed to do, and my nipples have sensation. My breasts are not exactly the same shape right now, but they are beautiful and really like them. I had drainage for about 6 weeks after, but it all healed up just fine. My aunt, who had her reduction 8 years ago, said that it took her up to a year to know what size she really was. Initially they will feel and look tiny, but your body (and your brain) adjust to them over time. i still sleep in a sports bra most nights because it is the most comfortable for me. I often sleep with a pillow under my top arm when I am sleeping on my side. It takes a lot of patience and acceptance to heal from this surgery, but it is so worth it! Just accept your body where it is at and everything will work out just fine.
Hi! So happy that you are loving your new breasts. I too love looking down and seeing my feet! I remember being in the hospital after surgery and lifting my head. I told the nurse and my roommate that I was glad I could see my stomach while lying down! I love looking in the mirror and seeing a "normal" body without the breasts being the first time you notice. Happy recovering!
