no, I had a tummy tuck too. I had about 2 pounds removed...so thinking I would see more of a difference. I'll ask next visit if it's still there. Maybe it's just loose skin. thanks for your response.

I am 9 weeks post op. I had lipo of my flanks. I know they are better, but I still have love handles that are clearly there when I wear any pants that have elastic in the waist band. Anyone else experiencing this? I guess I thought they would be flatter than they are at this point. I thought I read that by 9 weeks, you are at 95% of your final result. I don't have another apt with my PS until the 6 month point.

you definitely aren't eating enough at 1000 calories a day. your body needs good protein and a healthy amount of calories to heal properly. I am 5'6" and 135 pounds and am consuming around 1800 calories a day and losing about 1/2 pound per day surprisingly. I know my metabolism is in overdrive. I'm 4 weeks post op tomorrow. add some lean protein like turky or chicken that doesn't tip the fat percentages for the day but gives your muscles something to "chew on" - lol and you'll be better off. worry about losing those last pounds once you have the okay to exercise and are fully healed. :)

I've had some, but not extreme. I think it's from skin stretching and shrinking and stretching and shrinking. lol also, I think the antibiotic soap (Safeguard) that I'm using is a lot more harsh/drying to my skin than the usual oatmeal one I use. I think it's ok, as long as the peeling isn't exposing any senstive skin underneath.
