    Hey,

From your post, you had your surgery on April 2, 2012. I had my surgery on March 15, 2012.

I can't believe you running run errands. I relaxed for an entire 2 weeks. Take it easy, and rest, rest, rest!

Don't worry, you should have your drains out soon.
Usually they stay in for 7 to 10 days, no longer.

Yeah, I took 3 weeks off from work.
My mom stayed with me to help take care of the kids, until we could not stand each other anymore....hahahahaha!

I haven't had much of an appetite, so I have been drinking a lot of smoothies.
I try to eat healthy, I have both a powerful blender and juicer; and yes, I do use them...lol
Favorite morning drink, kale, spinach, strawberry, banana, soy milk and whey protein smoothy. It taste better then it sounds.

I have two more weeks until I am allowed to go to the gym, and I can't wait! I have already paid my for training sessions.
I am going to start off slow at the gym of course, and progress month by month.

    Oh, thanks!

Yeah, SP said I am healing really well, and his assistant said she might recommend the honey to other clients also...lol

I am starting a healing trend.
I ordered the honey from Amazon.

Active MGO 400+ (Old 20+) Manuka Honey 100% Pure by Manuka Health New Zealand Ltd. - 8.75 oz jar

There is also medihoney, but that is Manuka honey in a small more expensive tube. I was fooled....lol
It's cheaper to 8.75 oz jar.

Oh, thanks, I am glad my information helped.
If you look at Updated on "7 Mar 2012", that will have more information about the honey and links.

Thanks, I noticed my waist was tiny also, which makes my boobs look huge....lol
I work on a team with 12 guys, so they noticed also. I can get them to do anything...hahahahaha!

From reading your update you have 5 weeks to go?
As long as you have a good support system, you will be fine.
There has been some ups and downs, but I am really happy with the results.

The only thing that matters is what makes you happy.

Good luck and keep me updated, and I will keep posting also.

    Hey OfficerDiva,

I am glad to see you up and around. You are recovering well. I seen the new pics, and you are looking good girl!

I know you might be skeptical about using the honey, I personally do not use western medicine very much. The honey is a natural approach to healing. There is documented proof of the healing powers of different kinds of honey.
I slather the honey on my incision and I drink the honey in my tea. I would never post anything that was bad for anyone.

Please see my updated pictures. Again, the honey actually helped.
I talked to a few PS about the honey, including mine and a few doctor friends.
The only is safe. Its just sticky. After I place the honey on my incision, I cover with both the honey and the scare with flex wrap, and then a pair of ugly panties...lol

Anyway, again, you look great! Happy healing.

Just read your 4/7/2012 update, and don't worry, things will get better. You will have your good days and your bad days. Rest when you can, and listen to your body.

If you read some of my updated I have posted remedies I have tried, such as stuff to help with the scaring, and to help straighten up your back. Which I am doing that currently. Pretty soon I am say goodbye to back pain and "C" position and hello to standing straight.

Again, don't worry, you will get there soon.
