Had Ulthera in Feb and one Fraxel in May, I have about 30% improvement in tightening, and guess I got back at least 5 years, which is enough to make it worthwhile. Anyone who has any of these treatments remember to take plenty of Vitamin C afterwards, because this is a main building block of Collagen. It's hard to take too much because it's water based and your body removes the excess. I take about 1,000 to 1,500 mg a day. Protein is important too

You don't give any examples, so how are we to believe that you're not working for a plastic surgeon who's losing money because people are opting out of going under the knife? What long term damage are you talking about? Also, there are different types of lasers....

I had Thermage 5 years ago when I turned 50, had heard people say "don't do it!' No problems, my skin looked better for a couple of years. After menopause and losing some weight, my skin suddenly got saggy, so I had Ulthera done in Feb (again, someone said don't do it) and my skin looked 50% better than before, thicker and tighter but still had lots of lines. Your body does not see wrinkles as damage, so will not "fix" them on its own. These treatments are taking business away from offices that only do "nip and tuck" work.I admit I am a little vain, but I've also noticed that people seem more inclined to engage in conversation with me after having the treatments. The job market is very competitive right now, and studies have shown that if there are two candidates with exactly the same credentials, an employer will choose the one that looks younger. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

OMG, you were even pretty before you had this done! I had Ulthera in Feb and noticed that my skin has lifted (I got about 10 years back) but still have a lot of lines. You've convinced me to have the laser done now....thanks!
