Hi lemhi77, We’re sorry to hear about your experience, and would like to help your doctor resolve this matter. We ask that you give us the opportunity to get in touch with them to help troubleshoot what might be causing the issues you’ve described. We would need some additional information from you however. If you could send a private message with your name and your provider’s information we would be more than happy to contact them.
  • Posted to ClearCorrect Trays Have Gap Between the Edge of my Teeth and the Plastic. Is This Normal? on 8 Nov 2012

Hi CinJersey, Yes, this can happen for various reasons. Your dentist would be the best person to keep an eye on it and to troubleshoot any possible problems should the tray not settle to their pleasing. Take a look at the blog post below, and be sure to let your dentist know of any further concerns you may have. http://blog.clearcorrect.com/post/Gaps-between-aligners-teeth.aspx Best, Sarah Bircher

Hi nycsteph, I searched our database for any patients in the state of New York with a name similar to “steph” whose cases have completed in the last year. None of the results matched a patient who was in treatment for the length of time you described, nor whom we have not already received good feedback from. If we had known about this situation we could have worked with your doctor to see what might have been causing this and come up with a new treatment plan that would better meet your case’s specific needs. Hello none234, As mentioned in the message sent to you, we would really like the opportunity to look into this matter, as what you’re describing is quite unusual for a ClearCorrect case. If you could forward me your name and dentist’s name we would be more than willing to look into your case and alert the proper areas to get started on figuring out what may be the issue and work with your dentist towards resolving it. Best, Sarah Bircher
