Too bad we all can't do a class action lawsuit. Of course, if it is not recommended for they tear troughs, then the doctors are all at fault for doing this.
The PS was correct. He had to do the same for me.. AND, he wanted to let the injection site rest before he went in there. He was very concerned. I appreciated it that, since he knew I was terrified of living w a bad eye. He told me after he did the lower lift, he could see sheets of plastic from the radiesse. He is a reconstructive surgeon and I really felt he was thinking fillers are not to be injected into a face.
PS - my new doctor told me to leave it alone too. Well, I left it alone for 2 years! I finally could not take it and had the lower lift. I can still see the little white lines the filler caused. I was so ticked off. He said when he went in there, it was like a sheet of plastic. And because it is a very sensitive area, he tried to scrape as much away as he could. Well, I am now scarred for life. Thanks to one idiotic RN. Thankfully, she only gave me one injection on the right eye. I just cannot for the life of me understand why she jabbed the left twice. She went so deep, I had a bone bruise for a long time. Never again will I allow someone to do a thing to my face without research. Research clearly states this substance is to be used for deep tissue only. I am glad I did not go blind. That was a very big worry.
I am not sure anyone can correct it. I went to the best plastic surgeon and he would not touch it. He wanted it to dissolve. Well, it never did - so he went in to do my lower eye lift and tried scrape as much of it away as possible. What made me angry is that the nurse who injected me (her doctor she worked for was a top doc in balt), jabbed me so deep and said" she never makes apologies for mistakes", and the next morning, I was so freaked out. I thought she had blinded me. My mistake was trusting someone who I thought they knew what they were doing. We did not even talk about Radiasse. I wanted her to do fillers on the side of my nose. She must have been off her meds that day.
I would google reconstructive surgeons and look for one that has been in business for a while. There is also Juvaderm - I believe this is the one that helps your own body make collagen. It is injected and then you have to massage it so many times per day for a week. I did it and the results are amazing. It does take a bit of the filler..after a while your body begins to make collagen, which is what we loose as we age.
