I'm near Toronto, Ont. they told me 6-8 weeks, but said they'd call me if they came in early(crossing my fingers). That seems so long to me too. I'm pretty sure my ortho said 4 buttons. My 2 front teeth need to be pushed out and my 2 teeth on both sides of my front teeth need to be pulled down. If I remember correctly, my 2 front teeth buttons will be on the inside.
How are your teeth progressing so far?
Thank you so much for your detailed review and account of your experience! It's really helped me. I'm getting my invisalign dec 5. I'm surprised they take so long to come in. My original consult and tray fittings was oct 10. I'm in Canada, so they take longer to ve shipped. Hopefully they'll come in sooner. I have to get the buttons as well and my ortho said my treatment will be 18 mnths. I'm excited to get them and I was one of the ppl that had metal braces when I was 13. Of course I didn't keep up with my retainers, and my teeth shifted. So here I am at 35 getting them fixed.
Anyway, thanks for your updates. :)
Thank you for all your responses. My surgeon has decided not to do surgery right now, as she feels the tissue is too fragile. She wants to wait 2-3 months. Does this seem reasonable? I'm still having pain in my right breast and the fluid seems to have turned to scar tissue, which she feels massage will help. I'm very skeptical as most plastic surgeons I've witten to have stated surgery was performed. I'm just very confused. My surgeon says I'm still in an acute phase and surgery could cause more issues.
