OMG I gained 10 lbs too! I feel flabby and weak but everyday is getting better and I've lost 5 of 10 so far. My incision has healed very well but I too still get swollen and the muscles get sore easily. It seems like you should be all healed up too, have you called your PS?
Hi Mary,
i did notice that once my drains were out (first one removed at weeks 1, last one removed at 2 1/2 weeks) i starting swelling more. Its uncomfortable and discouraging but the more you see the progress off the people here posting you realize its just part of the deal. I am one month pot op and on a good day wear jeans but its not comfy. Do yourself a favor and get some cute comfy lounge pants and lounge! Keep yiur head up, it will get better.

I have worn my binder faithfully. Only off during a shower. Im eating well, low sodium, lots of water, lots of rest. I cant believe how puffy my belly is. Just my lower ab. I know my PS said he really tightend up my abs but gheesh its super tight!
Hello everyone,
i am 35; mom w/11 yr old twins (csection) and 135# at 5'6".
I had my tt April 4th, almost 4 weeks ago. Initially i was thrilled my stomach looked great, now its so swollen and round it really discourages me.
i still cant stand up straight. Im typically an active person so the sitting still is very depressing.
My PS told melast week that its normal swelling and to still be resting w/ very little activity. Evrything i do exhausts me.
i dont know if im better off to try and walk and stretch or just lay in bed all day....
:( thanks for listening
