How long was your tummy watery?

How's your swelling now? I'm 3 1/2 weeks post-op and still kinda have the water wave effect. I'm concerned about it since my doc said the nerves couldn't connect and pull my tummy flat until the swelling was gone. My family is prone to swelling too and the doc and staff act like I'm doing too much. I'm hardly doing anything! I would really appreciate your feedback. Thanks!

No doubt about the house, mine looks terrible! My husband has been great too. My mom helps sometimes but has 1st stage skin cancer and can only do so much. I do have to say my hubby has become quite the cook! Since we had tt so close, i'm curious, are you completely straightened up yet? Also, do you still have some water on the belly? That's something I'm a bit concerned with since my doc says the nerves can't attach while the water is present. I would love to hear back from you, I spend alot of time on my laptop while healing.

Just remember, it's only day 2 for you and you're on heavy pain meds. Don't do too much. If you do, you may ending up compromising your results or having an even longer healing time.
