I did it Sunday the 15th. Luckily, this was my first time in a new age bracket and that helped A LOT!! I think what also helped was that i didnt have a lot of muscle repair. There were no exemptions because I didnt go on a profile. Push ups and sit ups were a bit hard but not horrible. I got tired much sooner but it was never painful. I definately couldnt have passed in in the old age bracket that soon after. My push-ups were 20, sit ups at 30 and my run was 14:18... one of the worst scores i have ever had but i still passed.
you will do fine if you have until January to test.. Especially since you do these exercises already. I guess it depends on how much they have to repair your muscles.
I got a full tuck but I didn't have as much muscle repair as thought. Just around the belly button. Not bad I guess after having two kids. My running progress has been slow. I could barely do a mile on my first out and even walked a lot of it. Before surgery I could run 3-4 miles. I actually forget I had the surgery now unless I do a lot during the day and my stomach feels tighter at night. 12 weeks to wear a compression garment is a LONG time. I feel for you!!
3.5 weeks(although i only wore spanx)... never felt so free and non constricted.. My PS wanted me to wear it for 4 but i couldnt wait that long.. It was even causing me to be depressed too...
I will be 6 weeks on thursday and havent wore my compression garment since 4 weeks (it was too uncomfortable to wear). It felt wierd at first but the more I kept it off, the better I felt. I started running last week too. My stomach does get tight at the end of it but it is not uncomfortable like it was when i would be wearing my garment then take it off and feel like i blew up. Hope this helps. I felt free after I got rid of that stupid garment. Happy healing to you. we are in for a long road ahead of us!
