Hi Blue,
I can tell you that from my experience, it really helped me to have a small table placed next to the toilet. Why? Because if you get external drains and collection bags post surgery, you will have to empty the bags and measure and record your output of fluid. I put my measuring cups, gauze bandages, sanitary pads (like for the incision area) wet wipes, tablet and pen, all on that small table so that I could take care of everything on the toilet. Sounds lively, I know, but the first week after surgery is hard. You want to have what you need in close proximity. I had very low blood pressure after surgery and dizziness...so I kept what I needed close by.
Just a thought! Good luck with your surgery. Be strong, and take it easy!
Anyone with swelling in hip/ upper outer thigh area? I had a ful tt with lipo to flanks. Nothing else. Maybe it just looks bigger without the extra tummy flubs taking the spotlight! Lol!
Waitedenough, this party is an excellent opportunity for you to your class and grace. First of all, you're not going up against Ms size 2. You're strong and beautiful. Hold your head high and remember that the party is for the daughter. Just focus on that and you can't go wrong, no matter if people talk to you or not. I know you didn't ask for my advice, but I just really want you, and every woman, to realize her worth. ...chin up!
You're welcome! Oh! You can try brown rice. You can now buy it in the frozen veggie section and microwave it...add some black beans...yum! Good luck! I'm a sugar junkie too!!
...and drink lots of water. This one day of making healthier choices may be enough to set you on a course of eating better. Also, you can eat as many veggies a day as your heart desires! Its a matter of changing your tastes around. Lean protein is vital too! I find though that exercise is the key to me keeping my diet and cravings in check. I don't believe in denial, but in the beginning, I find that you have to cut out the naughty stuff for at least a week or two before eating small, treat- sized portions of those foods. Good luck!
